Overview
We are seeking a fast clean and friendly team member. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. Duties
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the cash register.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accurate cash handling practices.
- Assist customers and provide help as needed throughout their experience.
- Promote additional products through upselling techniques to enhance sales.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards in the café area and during food handling.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods by assisting with food preparation or service as required.
- Maintain knowledge of store products to effectively assist customers with their selections.
Skills
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is preferred, especially in a café setting.
