Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our hotel guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all areas of the hotel including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Make beds, change linens, and organize rooms as needed
- Replenish amenities such as toiletries and towels
- Vacuum carpets, sweep floors, and mop hard surfaces
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in a proper manner
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Adhere to hotel cleaning standards and procedures
Skills
- Experience in industrial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and products
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of hospitality industry standards
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues efficiently
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
