-Housekeeper Laundry – Full-time
The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas within our property. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The Housekeeping Associate will work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other team members to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.
Duties:
-Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, and replenishing amenities to ensure a clean and inviting space.
-Clean and maintain public areas, such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and meeting rooms, ensuring they are tidy and presentable at all times.
-Ensure all back-of-house areas, such as storage rooms and employee areas, are clean and organized according to established standards.
-Adhere to the established cleaning procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
-Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly.
-Assist with laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
-Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns related to housekeeping services.
-Collaborate with the front desk and other departments to ensure efficient coordination and delivery of housekeeping services.
-Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities, notifying the Housekeeping Supervisor when additional items are needed.
-Participate in departmental training programs and meetings to enhance skills and stay updated on company policies and procedures.
The Housekeeper Laundry provides service to La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Pharr North McAllen which serves local restaurants, stores, hotels, schools, etc. We are a small company but we love our work!
