Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment rooms, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues or areas needing repair.
- Perform preventive maintenance in rooms to extend their lifespan.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems using tools such as an Ohmmeter and schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
- Fabricate parts as needed for repairs or upgrades, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Execute residential painting tasks as required to maintain the aesthetic appeal of facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing all maintenance tasks.
Skills
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance best practices and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in various repair techniques.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for clear interaction with team members and management.
- Experience in residential painting is a plus, contributing to overall facility upkeep.
