We are seeking individuals with tremendous personality and a desire to work with people, to join our Front Desk team. As a Front Desk agent with LaQuinta Inn & Suites, your main responsibilities are:
- Anticipate guests and needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain complete knowledge at all times of: Hotel features/services, hours of operations, Room rates, special packages and promotions, daily house count and expected arrivals/departures and scheduled daily group activities
- Process all guest check-ins, verify registration card information with the guest.
- Handle overbooked or 'walked' guests
- Accept and record wake-up call requests
- Monitor, send and distribute guest faxes
- Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e., special requests, amenity delivery)
- Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping
Required Experience:
In addition to the core job requirements, skill sets and work related experience: the ideal Front Desk agent must have:
- Previous Hotel Front Desk experience a plus
- High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
- Proficiency with computers a must
- Basic math skills
- Great communication skills both verbal and written.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers/point of sales system.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.30 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
