Job Overview
· A Houseman is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel public areas and helping room attendants and laundry with their jobs as needed.
· Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgement.
- Respond to special requests by guests (such as providing extra amenities or service time requests).
- Clean public spaces of the hotel (for example, elevators, breakfast room, fitness center, lobby, public restrooms guest laundry room, corridors and more.
- Clean all outside areas of the hotel such as the parking lot, pool area, and more.
- Assist the housekeeping department when needed, to clean rooms, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and washing windows / tracks.
- Assist breakfast attendant during busy mornings when needed
- Report maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain room in compliance with hotel standards.
Only candidates with outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills will be considered.
