Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and satisfying breakfast experience. This position involves preparing and serving breakfast items, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and providing excellent customer service. A background in food service or related fields is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area with food items, beverages, and utensils.
- Ensure that all food is presented attractively and is in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces.
- Communicate effectively with guests to provide assistance and answer any questions regarding menu items.
- Monitor food supplies and inventory, restocking as necessary throughout the breakfast service.
- Assist with meat cutting or other food preparation tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items.
- Handle any special dietary requests from guests with care and attention.
- Utilize OpenTable or similar systems for reservations or guest management when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or catering is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
