Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including residential homes and hotels. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all cleaning tasks are performed to the highest standards.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Handle floor care tasks such as sweeping, polishing, and maintaining carpets.
• Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and well-presented for guests or residents.
• Manage custodial duties by restocking supplies and ensuring all cleaning equipment is in good working condition.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Assist with light cooking or meal preparation as needed in residential settings.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all cleaning protocols are followed effectively.

Skills

• Proficiency in floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning and maintenance.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or residential cleaning environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and guests.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.99 - $13.89 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week
