Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain the breakfast area in a clean and organized manner
- Prepare and replenish breakfast items such as coffee, tea, pastries, fruits, and cereals
- Ensure that food is handled and stored properly according to health and safety regulations
- Assist guests with their breakfast needs and provide excellent customer service
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Answer phone calls with proper etiquette and assist guests with inquiries or reservations
- Collaborate with banquet staff to ensure smooth operations during events
- Maintain positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or issues promptly
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the breakfast area
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus
