Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently while ensuring accurate billing.
- Perform night audit duties, including verifying room rates, processing payments, and generating daily reports.
- Manage phone systems to respond to guest inquiries and reservations promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
- Assist guests with their needs, including providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Address any guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or a similar role within a resort setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is highly desirable.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and strong guest relations skills are essential for success in this position.
- Experience using front desk software or phone systems is beneficial.
