Position: Laundry Attendant
Job Description: Perform tasks to process, fold, and store hotel terry and linen while providing prompt and courteous service to guests as needed. To be part of a team and contribute positively to the overall guest experience. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Bonuses and overtime are available!
Essential Responsibilities:
- Collecting used terry and linens from housekeeping carts
- Processing laundry
- Operating washers and dryers
- Folding clean terry and linen
- Distributing clean terry and linen to housekeeping closets
- Clean public areas and facilities as needed
- Perform other tasks as requested by management
Shifts:
- Daytime: Starts between 9 AM and 10 AM and ends between 4 PM and 5 PM depending on the time of year and hotel occupancy.
- Nighttime: Starts between 4PM and 6 PM and ends between 10 PM and 11 PM depending on the time of year and hotel occupancy.
Availability and Work Requirements:
- Must be available to work holidays and weekends, especially Sundays.
- Physical requirements include extended periods of standing, lifting up to 30 pounds, bending, and kneeling to perform all tasks.
- Have reliable form of transportation (public or private)
- Consistently show up when scheduled and on time.
- Properly use cleaning chemicals
