Housekeeping Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.

Duties

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, polishing, and buffing as needed.
• Carry out industrial cleaning duties in accordance with established protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping management team to uphold quality standards in all cleaning operations.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure their satisfaction with cleanliness standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed during cleaning tasks.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service in a hotel or similar environment are essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
