Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure thorough coverage of all areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests or events requiring additional cleaning services.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff attendance, supply usage, and maintenance requests.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
