Janitorial Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Maintain floors through buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure they are clean and presentable.
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed to uphold the functionality of the premises.
• Ensure all restrooms are stocked and sanitized regularly.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies as they arise.
• Assist with porter duties, including moving furniture or equipment when necessary.
• Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
• Skills in floor care maintenance, including buffing and waxing, are highly desirable.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or residential painting can enhance your application.
• A strong work ethic with attention to detail is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $10.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
