Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring that rooms meet hotel standards.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and other essentials in guest rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed to ensure an adequate supply of clean linens.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
