Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Gardening Technician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Wisconsin plant species, strong attention to detail, and enjoy working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities- Plant and maintain flower beds, shrubs, and decorative plants
- Perform regular garden maintenance including weeding, pruning, and deadheading
- Install seasonal color displays and containers
- Identify potential pest and disease issues
- Work collaboratively with landscape team members
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- 1 years of gardening or horticulture experience preferred
- Knowledge of Wisconsin native plants and common garden species
- Physical ability to stand, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation to Cedarburg
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in horticulture, landscaping, or related field
- Experience with landscape design principles
- Knowledge of organic gardening practices
- Plant identification skills
