Pesticide Applicator - Lawn and Plant Healthcare Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and certified Pesticide Applicator to join our Plant Healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing safe and effective pest control and treatment strategies for residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive pest and disease assessments on lawns, gardens, and landscape installations
- Safely apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers using specialized equipment
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation
- Calibrate and maintain application equipment
- Follow strict safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Provide professional recommendations to clients for ongoing plant health management
- Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members about treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Valid Pesticide Applicator Certification DATCP
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in landscape pest control or related field
- Clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of integrated pest management principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Required Certifications:
- DATCP Pesticide Applicator License
- Valid driver's license
- Completion of ongoing pesticide safety training
