As a Correctional Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within correctional facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing inmates and enforcing facility rules to ensure a secure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor inmate activities to prevent disturbances and escapes
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain order and discipline
- Conduct searches for contraband items within the facility
- Escort inmates within the facility or during transport
- Respond to emergencies and incidents within the facility
- Document all activities, incidents, and behavior of inmates
Experience:
- Required Skills:
- At least 18 years old.
- U.S Citizen
- High School Diploma/GED
- No felony, drug related or domestic violence convictions
-No Class A or B misdemeanor convictions in the last 5-10 years
- No pending criminal charges
- Willing to work in a highly structured environment.
