Position Summary
The Marketing and Communications Assistant is a part-time, temporary position in the office of University Marketing and Communications. This role will provide project support across the UMC office in support of divisional objectives.
Essential Duties
- Provide support in planning, coordinating, and implementing marketing and communications initiatives and events
- Support project management across the marketing and communications department adhering to deadlines
- Provide edit and proofreading support for a variety of deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Assist with content development and migration for the University’s website redesign project
- Support photo and video projects including logistical planning, execution, and asset tagging and inventory
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Secondary Responsibilities
- Staff select university event as a representative of enrollment, marketing, and communications

Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Progress toward and active enrollment in an undergraduate degree in a related field
- Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a professional setting
