We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Sanitation Worker to join our team. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of production areas, equipment, and tools in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and maintained.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment for effective sanitation processes.
- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of food processing equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the warehouse or food production environment.
- Follow all safety protocols while performing cleaning tasks to minimize hazards.
- Document cleaning activities as required for compliance purposes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, food processing, or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and custodial duties is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
