Engineer l Etest
As a Etest Engineer at LA Semiconductors' Pocatello 200mm manufacturing facility, you will work in a dynamic team environment and oversee the parametric testing and centering of a number of high-performance technologies. Each day you will be challenged by working on a diverse set of projects with a world class team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain Etest hardware and software systems which are used to monitor the electrical device performance of the Pocatello 200mm Silicon manufacturing line
- Improve efficiency of Etest systems
- Support the Process and Yield teams on Process Changes, New Process & New Product introduction analysis of E-test data to ensure technology and product meet manufacturability goals
- Design and analyze experiments to improve Etest performance, cycle-time, and cost
- Drive root cause analysis and cross functional corrective action teams
- Analysis of Etest data to determine and resolve causes of tester performance and continuous improvement using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 5Y, 8D, DMAIC)
- Required Skills and Abilities:
- Familiar with testing methods of electrical devices.
- Ability to identify, collect, analyze, and present data necessary to resolve yield related issues
- Basic understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and device physics, product testing, performance, andreliability.
- Self-motivated individual with a desire to find permanent solutions to problems
- UNIX/Linux knowledge
- Software programming experience is desired for Etest system support and efficiency improvement.
- Good statistical data analysis skills, including software used for analysis (JMP, R, etc.)
- Knowledge of SPECS, RMB or similar software for automated electrical testing of wafers
- Candidate must be an effective team player.
- Good communication and presentation skills
Education Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
- Minimum of 0-2 years of direct fab Etest experience
