La Sierra University invites applications for the full-time, regular position of Admissions Analyst II. As an Admissions Analyst II, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing student applications to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process. Your role will include reviewing applications for completeness, verifying academic credentials, and maintaining accurate records in the university's database. You will also be tasked with providing timely and accurate information to prospective students and their families, as well as working closely with the admissions team to develop and implement strategies for student recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to higher education, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

This position does not require travel and is based at the La Sierra University campus. As an Admissions Analyst II, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the university by ensuring that the admissions process aligns with the institution's standards and values. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and diversity of the university's student body. This hourly position offers a dynamic work environment where you will engage with a diverse group of applicants and collaborate with dedicated professionals committed to educational excellence. The job duration is regular / at-will, reflecting the university's commitment to long-term employment and career development for its staff.

Required Skills :

Proficiency in data analysis and management

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Proficient in the use of databases and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population

Ability to interpret and apply university policies and procedures

Ability to train and supervise student workers

Capable of working independently and as part of a team

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Customer service orientation with a focus on providing a positive applicant experience

Desired Experience :

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university

Experience in an administrative or analytical role, preferably in an educational setting

Familiarity with admissions processes and academic credential evaluation

Experience with student information systems and CRM software is highly desirable

Demonstrated experience in handling large volumes of data with attention to detail

Prior experience in a customer service role, with a track record of providing excellent service

Experience working in a diverse, multicultural environment

Knowledge of higher education policies, procedures, and best practices

Experience in developing and implementing administrative procedures

A history of successfully meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities

Previous experience in a university or college admissions office is a plus

Wage Range : $18.96 to $21.50 per hour, plus generous benefits.
