What are the responsibilities and job description for the Biology Department Student Live Displays Technician (LDT) position at La Sierra University?
Position Summary
The Biology Student Live Displays Technician is responsible for the care and well-being of the living displays in the Biology Department. The specimens include both plants and animals in planters and habitats which include aquariums, terrariums, and paludariums.
The direct supervisor is the Biology Chair, who also makes the final hire decicsion.
- Must be a La Sierra University student currently enrolled in the quarters being worked.
- Work schedule negotiated as part of the hire interview. Estimated weekly hours will be less than 10.
