La Sierra University is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our Enrollment Services-Recruitment Department as a Hospitality Coordinator and Front Desk professional. This full-time, regular position is designed for a candidate who is eager to contribute to the welcoming and efficient atmosphere of our university. The role requires no travel and is based at La Sierra University. As a Hospitality Coordinator and Front Desk, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors, providing them with a positive first impression and ensuring that all inquiries are addressed with professionalism and courtesy. Your responsibilities will include managing the reception area, coordinating hospitality services for campus events, assisting with the organization of recruitment activities, and maintaining a hospitable environment for prospective students, families, and guests. You will also be responsible for administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing visitor logs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service excellence, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting the university's mission by creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that enhances the overall experience of our campus community.

Required Skills :

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer applications

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Exceptional customer service orientation and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Familiarity with office equipment, such as printers and fax machines

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and schedules

Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor

Required Experience :

1 to 2 years of experience in a hospitality, customer service, or administrative role

Experience working at a front desk or in a receptionist capacity, preferably in an educational or hospitality setting

Proven track record of creating a welcoming environment for guests and visitors

Experience coordinating events or hospitality services is highly desirable

Familiarity with enrollment services or student recruitment processes is a plus

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Experience in handling administrative responsibilities with discretion and professionalism

History of working collaboratively in a team environment

Prior experience in a university or college setting is beneficial but not mandatory

A 4-year degree from an accredited institution is required, reflecting the level of expertise expected in the role

Wage Range : $17.60 to $19.00 per hour plus generous benefits.
