Position Summary
The Media / Reagent Technician for BIOL306L SEA-GENES II (MRT-BIOL306L) is a crew member for preparation of growth media, reagents, and some electrophoresis or diffusion gels specifically for SEA-GENES Lab II. This MRT works closely with the instructor and Lab TA to ensure needed media, reagents, and gels are ready for use when required. The MRT also works with the instructor and manager to monitor and maintain media, course reagents and production supplies inventory.
The Course Instructor will work with the Department Manager in making the final hire decision.
- Must be a La Sierra University student currently enrolled in the Winter 2025 quarter
- Must be able to be cleared to start work on or before required start date January 7
- Must have taken 306L within last 3 years and passed with a grade of B or higher or been a previous TA2 for either course in the last year
