The Relationship Manager supports venture backed Technology, Life Science and Healthcare clients. They will be accountable for servicing / managing clients' deposit and cash management relationship with HSBC.
Here’s what you can expect :
As the Relationship Manager, you will perform client account reviews and suggest solutions to meet clients’ needs and minimize risk based on client’s sector, life stage and / or financial goals. You will serve as the dedicated service contact for a portfolio of clients including triaging complex client inquiries, connecting clients to partner channels as needed, and owning client issues end to end, addressing the root causes of problems and identifying ways to address issues in the long term so they do not repeat. For your portfolio, you will provide ongoing risk monitoring, address operational risk activity, and ensure consistent application of Group Policy and regulatory, financial, and legal standards.
Compensation : For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $100,000 and $175,000. The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing / certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
Requirements :

You’ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role :
- 8 – 10 years’ experience in Commercial Banking, Cash Management, Private Equity, Venture Capital and / or equivalent
- 5 – 7 years’ experience in Relationship Management, Relationship Support, Client Service, Investor Services and / or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and influencing skills
