Responsibilities
- Take drink orders and confirm patrons are of legal drinking age.
- It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that all state and federal laws pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages are adhered to. The candidate is expected to be legally cleared of any issues, both past and present, related to the serving and management of alcohol.
- The role entails ordering, maintaining, and restocking the inventory of bar supplies, as well as completing the opening and closing side work checklist.
- The bartender will be offering a selection of new signature cocktails on a weekly basis.
- All employees are expected to maintain a high standard of personal grooming and uniform presentation in accordance with company policy.
- Every surface in the bar area must be impeccably cleaned before and after the shift and throughout each service. No exceptions. Every bar surface must be maintained impeccably.
- Required that you handle guest payments with the utmost accuracy, including split checks, gift cards, and Happy Hour prices.
- It is the responsibility of all staff to maintain a positive attitude and the highest standards of professionalism when referring guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending is a must.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two to three years of experience and will be able to provide references upon request.
- TIPS Certification is required.
Salary : $1,000 - $1,400
