Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance the shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while ensuring that stock levels are adequate.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and ensure accuracy in cash handling.
- Collaborate with team members to restock shelves and maintain inventory levels as needed.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or smoke shop store settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong sales skills with a focus on upselling products is highly desirable.
