Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff.
Duties
- Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet the restaurant's quality standards before serving.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet events as needed.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring a clean dining environment.
- Collaborate with cooks and kitchen staff to facilitate smooth food preparation and service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries effectively.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant setting is a plus, but not required—we’re willing to train the right candidate!
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail and presentation.
- Ability to carry multiple plates and move quickly while maintaining composure.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
