Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Beautician to provide hair and beauty services to our residents on a part-time basis. This role is crucial in enhancing the well-being and self-esteem of our community members, allowing them to maintain their grooming routines in a comfortable and familiar environment.

As a Beautician at Stellar Senior Living, you will play a vital role in promoting a sense of joy and companionship among our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide haircuts, styling, coloring, and other beauty services to residents.
• Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that encourages social interaction.
• Assist residents in maintaining their personal grooming routines.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in beauty services.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure residents’ needs are met.

Qualifications:

• Valid cosmetology or beautician license.
• Previous experience working in a salon or beauty setting, preferably with seniors preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of residents.
• Provide your own tools and supplies
