The Staff Development Coordinator at La Villa Grande Care Center plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of care for residents. This position is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive training programs to meet the unique needs of our geriatric community.
We are seeking an exceptional RN with expertise in long-term care or geriatric nursing to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to effectively design and deliver training programs, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement annual training plans based on quality assurance data to meet regulatory guidelines
- Create teaching plans and programs to cover training needs for all roles on a regular basis
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred but not required; background/training in infection control is a plus
- CPR certification desired
