Role Overview
To schedule and coordinate all nursing staffing in accordance with community and state/federal requirements, utilizing and maximizing the benefits of OnShift. Assist in providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as directed by management, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Responsibilities
- Uses inventory tracking logs to tack equipment within the facility (i.e., pumps, poles, concentrators, neutralizers, mattresses, etc.
- Fills requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Ensures supplies and equipment are properly maintained
- Coordinate/manage nursing staff work schedules in accordance with our established policies and procedures and to meet the minimum staffing ratios required by law.
- Maintains the master schedule utilizing electronic scheduling program (OnShift) that accurately reflects Paid Time Off (PTO)/Leave of Absence (LOA) requests, reserve staff schedules, call-ins, and varied shift hours. The Master Schedule also reflects employees’ full names and their position
Qualifications
- Knowledge of and demonstrated skills in general office procedures.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability of standing, walking, sitting. Use hands and fingers to handle or feel. Reach with hands and arms. Climb or balance, Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Talk or hear.
- Current CNA with experience desired but not required.
