Job Title: Physical Therapist ~ PT

As a Physical Therapist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide individualized care to maximize their progress towards achieving functional goals.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to remain calm in emergency situations, and have at least one year of experience as a physical therapy aide. A graduate degree from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved program and current licensure from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners are also required.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care, evaluating functional needs and outcomes, and consulting with other specialists.
- Designing and implementing a plan of care for patients based on a thorough assessment of potential development and incorporating participation by significant others whenever it seems appropriate.
- Conducting therapy practice within defined standards of care.
- Directing the assistance of support staff to achieve patients' functional goals.
- Communicating effectively with other professional and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Practicing hospital and departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
