The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing employee orientation and in-service education in a vibrant senior living community.
This role involves overseeing infection prevention and control measures to ensure the safety and well-being of both residents and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term or geriatric nursing, as well as a current RN license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement annual training plans
- Create specific teaching plans and programs to cover training needs for all roles on a regular basis
- Work with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality care is maintained at the highest standard
