We are looking for a full-time (32-40 hours per week) dental assistant who will join our team in providing high quality, compassionate care to patients. Duties will include basic clinical tasks, assisting the endodontist in procedures, sterilization of instruments, and administrative tasks. Skills and Qualities
- Knowledge of patient care protocols, procedures, and standards
- Knowledge of sterilization/disinfection protocols, procedures, and standards
- Knowledge of dental supplies, equipment, and services
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Able to use a computer with a Windows-based operating system
- Great communication and people skills
- Reliable, organized, and ability to multi-task
Minimum Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred but not required
- Experience as dental assistant, with an interest in endodontic procedures
- CPR certification, radiology certification
- Ability to chart, proficiency in reading and entering data, proficient in basic computer skills
- Customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Language: English or Bilingual
- Available to work weekday hours 7:30am-5pm with flexibility for rare extended hours as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
