La-Z-Boy of Albuquerque has been locally family owned and operated since 1975. We are seeking Sales Consultants that have experience in the automotive, furniture and other retail industries. We are a highly customer and employee focused organization. Beginning as a manufacturer of chairs, we have grown to a full-service home retail establishment. As the Lead Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for:

· Contributing to the store sales goals by selling furniture, design services, and accessories

• Working as a team with the Store Manager, Designers, other Sales Leads and Assistants to promote the In-Home Design program and drive store sales
• Maximizing store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grass roots programs
• Accurately completing order information, collecting deposits and fees, and keeping orderly customer records
• Researching customer payments and deliveries
• Capturing a minimum of eight (8) leads per week and other store goals set by management

· Maintaining expert knowledge of the product and processes

· Assisting where needed/other duties as assigned

Requirements

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and certain holidays, as required

Preferred Qualifications

Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required

Some post-high school education

Professional dress and appearance

Available weekends, and most holidays – we’re closed Christmas, Thanksgiving & Easter!

Job Specifications and Pay

This job is on-site, in our San Mateo location. It is a full-time commission-based position with the potential for bonuses. This is a benefits eligible position.
