Summary
The Portfolio Lead - Experience, Engagement, and Impact is part of the Planning and Programs Team reporting into the Project Management Group. This role is responsible for working closely with leaders from the portfolio like Torch Relay, Ceremonies, Legacy, and Culture to ensure integrated planning and detailed understanding of the status of projects and programs. Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategic Program Management Office, they will manage via dotted line the Business Managers responsible for each functional area's schedule, adherence to standards, risk management, and dependency management. They will act as the project manager for highly visible cross-functional projects that are impactful to their portfolio.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external teams is essential to providing strong oversight, portfolio management, assurance, and governance in this position. This is a highly collaborative role and is best for someone who enjoys working with a team to make sense of complex and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems and bring people together toward a common goal.
The ideal candidate will have experience interfacing with senior leaders and executives in a fast-paced dynamic environment. They will have overseen large portfolios of projects end to end and have a combination of hard project management skills and excellent interpersonal skills. They will be comfortable working in a matrixed environment and leading without direct authority by guiding, motivating, and ensuring high performing teams within their portfolio.

The annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 - 130,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
