Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and Strengthen Corporate Partnerships – Identify and engage corporations that align with LaAmistad’s mission, cultivating relationships that lead to long-term support.
- Secure Sponsorships and Funding – Work with corporate partners to secure sponsorships for events, programs, and initiatives that benefit LaAmistad students and families.
- Lead Corporate Volunteer Engagement – Organize, coordinate, and manage corporate volunteer groups to ensure meaningful and impactful experiences for both participants and the community.
- Expand LaAmistad’s Presence in the Business Community – Network with key corporate leaders and stakeholders, leveraging your connections to grow LaAmistad’s reach.
- Support Events and Special Initiatives – Collaborate with the LaAmistad team to coordinate corporate involvement in events such as Fiesta LaAmistad and other fundraising efforts.
What We’re Looking For:
- A seasoned professional with corporate experience and strong community ties in Atlanta.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with corporate leaders and potential partners.
- Experience in fundraising, corporate sponsorships, or business development.
- A passion for community impact, particularly in education and Latino advocacy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and relationships. Discretion handling confidential development information.
