The Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts is growing! Our brand new expanded 5,000 square foot Covington campus will be a full performing arts center offering music, dance and acting classes with an on campus theater to host all of our performances. To open late Summer/Early Fall 2025!
We are seeking additional talented and qualified music teachers with a passion for music education.
Now hiring for Summer/Fall 2025 teaching opportunities. We are seeking substitute and regular faculty members.
We are currently interviewing candidates for opportunities in our Voice, Piano, Violin, Guitar, Drums and Preschool Music Departments.
Compensation based on education and experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Music Degree or Equivalent Professional Experience
- Ability to conduct weekly private and group lessons and arrange lesson plans
- Outgoing personality
- Ability to make each lesson fun and enjoyable for students of all ages
- Ability to teach in two or more programs is a plus!
