What are the responsibilities and job description for the MIG Welder position at Laars Heating Systems Company?
We are proud to design and manufacture high-efficiency residential and commercial hydronic boilers, volume water heaters, and commercial pool heaters at our Rochester NH, USA headquarters that meet the needs of today with over 20 different heating products and supporting accessories and controls.
Our talented professional, technical, and administrative staff, along with our onsite state-of-the-art research and development laboratory and onsite manufacturing operations, allows us to focus on the continued growth and success of our organization.
We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Welder for a variety of welding fabrication jobs from simple to complex depending on our production and new product development schedules. Hours for this position are Monday through Thursday 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with overtime as needed on Friday. $1500 Sign-On Bonus! Pay Range: $21.00 - $28.00. Requirements below:
- 2 years of welding experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, Trade School preferred
- Ability to read construction and assembly drawings
- Skill and ability to obtain ASME-certification within 6 months of employment (employer paid expense)
- Ability to meet physical requirements, such as lifting up to 50 lbs. and extended periods of standing
- Excellent dependability, flexibility, and ability to work overtime as needed
