Job Title: IT Writer / Programmer
Department: Information Technology
Reports To: Director of Information Technology
Position Summary: Lab Crafters is looking for experienced report writers and programmers to support their aggressive technology expansion. These are full-time roles supporting the IT department and Database Administration with report writing and/or programming. They will work closely with the decision makers to deliver accurate data reporting and programming.

Tasks / Responsibilities: Report Writing
- Responsible for the writing, data checking, and delivery of Crystal Reports, Laserfische, and or PowerBi solutions
- Develop and maintain a quality schedule for reporting, garnering feedback and wishlist items from report consumers.
- QA/QC data to promote improvement and be able to request fixes at the source level.
- Complete periodic and routine reports internally and externally.
- Schedule the automatic delivery of reporting in different formats.
- Works closely with Director of IT to manage report requests and prioritization.
Tasks / Responsibilities: Programmer/Machine Learning
- High level programming language, Python preferred.
- Work directly with Senior IT management in the development of software interpretation tools.
- Handle programming language transfers to support different input and output demands.
- Proficiency in iterative development practices.
- Data analysis and relational-style query languages.
- Working with semi-structured and unstructured data.
- Distributed Computing
- Ability to work independently in delivering or leading the delivery of programming solutions.
- Develop new solutions.
Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements: Report Writing
- 2 years of experience in Crystal Reports or Smartsheets development a bonus
- Crystal Reports, SQL, PowerBi, Laserfische experience preferred.
- HTML or XML experience a plus.
- Ability to write SQL Views and commands to increase efficiency.
- Understanding of IT resources such as Servers, and Cloud.
- Project management skills such as being detail oriented, with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint experience.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of ERP software a plus.
Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements: Programmer/Machine Learning
- 2 years’ experience in Python, Microsoft OS preferred but not required.
- Smartsheets, SQL, SIF, SPEC desirable.
- Web Application development a plus.
- Experience in enterprise web applications a bonus.
- Clear communicator with ability to articulate problems.
- Self-Motivated independent worker who can complete tasks unsupervised.
- Knowledge of ERP software helpful.
