Full Time, Monday - Friday

Job Summary: L.A.B Equipment, Inc. (www.labequipment.com), a global leader in the design, manufacture and service of product reliability and package testing equipment, is seeking an experienced Assembler to make and assemble components for custom designed capital equipment using various tools and equipment. We offer a collaborative work environment to enjoy a variety of tasks assembling quality equipment for on-time delivery to our customers around the world.

The ideal candidate will:

• Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production
• Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process
• Follow company procedures and directives
• Test finished products for defects
• Maintain the tools used to create products
• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years relevant work experience; assembly of equipment, fabrication
• Able to work standing for 8 to 10 hours in shop conditions
• Responsible to provide own basic hand tools
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Driver’s license required
• Desirable experience includes repair of capital equipment machining, and electrical/wiring.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation $27.00 - $32.00 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience
• Full time, 40 hrs. a week, first shift, overtime available as needed
