What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Driver position at Lab Supply Inc.?
Lab Supply/Exotic Animal Supply has an immediate opening for a Route Truck Delivery driver. We are looking for someone to join our Fast-growing team in the Houston area. CDL and Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required. Must be able to pass a drug test. Candidates must be reliable and have a positive and friendly attitude.
· Schedule: Mon-Friday
· No overnights
Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
- Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment
- Pass a DOT physical
- Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work -️ Be on time and ready to work each workday
Daily Duties include but not limited to:
- Your vehicle must be operated safely at all times
- Perform daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levels
- Loading vehicle for deliveries and organizing daily loads
- Unloading inventory off trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks and dollies
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with manager
- Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
