About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Pre-Clinical Laboratory team as a Biological Research Technician - Histology. In this role, you will be responsible for performing histological trimming, embedding, and microtomy on various laboratory animals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing necropsy and tissue collections on a variety of species
- Performing organ weights, tissue freezing, and sample collection for TEM
- Adhering to animal health and welfare guidance in compliance with the Animal Health and Welfare Act
- Maintaining facilities for AAALAC compliance
- Collecting and documenting data per GLPs

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or an Associate Degree in Life Sciences, Histology, Laboratory Animal Technology, or Veterinary Technology. You should also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as experience with data documentation and quality control.
