As a skilled Specimen Processing Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of laboratory specimens. This is an exciting opportunity to join Labcorp's team and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, unpacking and routing specimens to their respective staging areas, accurately identifying and labeling specimens, packing and shipping specimens to proper testing facilities, meeting department activity and production goals, properly preparing and storing excess specimen samples, and data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
