Blood Collection Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Cabin John, Maryland. As a Phlebotomist at Labcorp, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and being the face of the company.

Responsibilities

1. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
2. Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
3. Process billing information and collect payments when required
4. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
5. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Requirements

• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred)
• At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience (preferred)
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
