Job Description:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Screening and evaluating gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens
- Performing microscopic evaluation of cytological specimens following laboratory procedures and policies
- Maintaining accurate documentation of workload recording
- Ensuring the integrity of testing results
- Finalizing testing results into the computer in a timely manner
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful as a Cell Biology Specialist, you will need:
- A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university
- Automated and non-automated testing experience is preferred
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
