Laboratory testing is an essential component of modern healthcare, and at Labcorp, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality results that inform clinical decisions. As a part-time Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and processing specimens, as well as providing exceptional customer service to patients and clients.
This role requires a strong foundation in phlebotomy, including the ability to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. You will also be responsible for collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other types of testing, as well as processing billing information and preparing collected specimens for testing and analysis.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently or in a team environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proven track record of providing excellent customer service, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Job Requirements:
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
