As a Specimen Accessioner at LabCorp, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of millions of healthcare tests every month.
This fast-paced, high-throughput environment requires strong organizational and data entry skills, as well as the ability to accurately identify and label specimens.
You will work closely with a team to ensure seamless specimen handling and data entry, meeting department activity and production goals while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with 1-2 years of relative experience in lab/accessioning, production/manufacturing/warehouse environments being a plus.
The job responsibilities include preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, unpacking and routing specimens to their respective staging areas, and accurately identifying and labeling specimens.
