We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Labcorp. As a key member of our patient service center, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and collecting high-quality specimens for testing.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, as well as collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other medical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients using safe and efficient techniques
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and specimen data
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist or in a related field desired
- Pediatric and geriatric patient experience highly valued
